101: Intro to Shooting
Learn to use all the functions and features of your digital camera - whether it is a DSLR or point-and-shoot. Topics covered include: camera settings and their purpose, types of photography (e.g., portraiture, landscape, still-life), digital file types, and file management. Suitable for new camera owners.
Tuition: $35 (2-4 pm Saturday, February 25 or 2-4 pm Saturday, March 31)
201: Composition and Color Theory
Increase your visual literacy by training your eye to see light, lines, patterns and colors. Examples from photography as well as other mediums will be used to illustrate concepts. Participants are encouraged to bring to 3-5 of their own images for discussion.

202: Content and History: Narrative and Documentary Photography
A survey of the history of photography, focusing on the traditions of narrative and documentary photographers (gesture, expression, environment and other photographic elements) as devices that underscore content and meaning. Participants are encouraged to bring to 3-5 of their own images for discussion.

301: Intro to Adobe Photoshop Lightroom
Learn the basics of Lightroom, a simple but powerful software program that manages, edits and enhances your photos.
Tuition: $35 (2-4 pm, Saturday March 17 or 2-4 pm Saturday, April 21)
302: Online Resources for Sharing and Printing
Transfer your images from digital files to printed material and online galleries. Topics covered include different file formats, optimization of resolution, color profiles,and choosing suppliers and online platforms.
Tuition: $35 (2-4 pm, Saturday, March 24, or 2-4 pm Saturday, April 28)

Join me for a guided tour of the Philadelphia Museum of Art's exciting exhibition "Zoe Strauss: 10 Years" and listen to the artist discuss her work.
